What we are looking for
The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for driving impact for children through growing single giving at UNICEF Australia, including leading and stewarding the mid-value supporter program. This position is part of the Individual Giving Retention team within the Fundraising & Communications department at UNICEF Australia (UA). The role supports the strategy for growing repeat standard value (SV) single giving, and the strategy and stewardship program for engaging with supporters within the mid-value donor (MVD) annual giving range.
Your day will include
1. Strategy development, implementation and optimisation
- Project manage the research, development of the Single Giving Retention and Mid-Value Strategies.
- Gather insights on donor behaviour and look at opportunities to maximise the lifetime value of donors.
- Lead the execution of the Single Giving Retention and Mid-Value Strategies and key campaigns.
- Make data-driven optimisations and work closely with the Performance, Growth and Insights team.
- Collaborate with other UNICEF markets and the Australian NFP sector on mid-value tests and approaches.
- Work closely with our Supporter Experience team to capture audience feedback to inform and improve products and experiences.
2. Mid-value supporter stewardship
- Lead the MVD stewardship activity, including implementing personalised and responsive communications to increase retention and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with wider Retention, Philanthropy and Gift in Wills teams to identify opportunities for growth in lifetime value and to execute supporter events.
- Develop measurable frameworks and dashboards to report on the success of stewardship strategies with support from our Business Solutions team.
3. Campaign Management
- Project management and integration across combined Individual Giving and/or Fundraising and Communication campaigns
- Seek opportunities for alignment and streamlining of campaign activity across Fundraising and Communications for supporter centricity.
- Work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of specific creative in campaigns.
- Provide guidance to the Marketing Executive, Retention on executing Single Giving campaigns and ensure alignment with MVD activity.
- Review and adapt existing campaigns and donor journeys.
4. Reporting
- Collaborate across teams with the Business Solutions and Performance, Growth and Insights teams to ensure metrics and results are accurately captured in our CRM and dashboards.
- Prepare data-driven reports to surface insights and trends of metrics for all single giving supporters and MVD audience segment, including presenting these results and strategies to UA and UNICEF global stakeholders.
- Regularly reporting back on progress on the Single Giving and MVD strategies.
5. Administration
- Support processing of Retention team invoices, reviewing samples, and budget tracking, ensuring the SG and MVD programs are delivered to budget
- Support data-hygiene and quality projects
6. Other duties as requested to contribute to an effective and proactive, innovative department. This may include occasional after hours work and emergency response. Every day is different.
