What we are looking for
We are seeking a strategic and purpose-driven Marketing Manager, Acquisition to lead UNICEF Australia’s acquisition program and grow our supporter base.
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, this role leads the acquisition strategy across a range of channels and supporter products, driving sustainable revenue growth and long-term supporter value.
This role sits within a team that is continuing to evolve, and will suit someone who is comfortable navigating change and contributing to shaping future structure and priorities.
Your day will include
- Leading UNICEF Australia’s acquisition strategy across single giving, regular giving and lead generation programs
- Developing and delivering a clear strategy, roadmap and activity plan aligned to organisational priorities
- Owning the end-to-end acquisition funnel and revenue targets, from lead generation to first gift and progression to ongoing support
- Using data, supporter insights and market research to optimise performance and identify growth opportunities
- Leading integrated, multi-channel, and multi-product campaigns to acquire new supporters and grow revenue sustainably
- Managing and developing a high-performing team to deliver strong results and continuous improvement
- Monitoring performance metrics, forecasting and campaign results to inform decision-making and optimise outcomes
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience leading acquisition or performance marketing programs in a complex organisation
- Proven ability to use data, insights and research to inform strategy and improve results
- Experience developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across a range of platforms, including ATL, paid digital media, eDM and telemarketing
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including coaching and performance management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage budgets, performance metrics and deliver against targets
- A strong alignment with UNICEF Australia’s purpose and values, and an interest in contributing to meaningful impact for children.
