Job Description

We are offering a full time 6-months contract position, working in a flexible environment, built around the diversity of our team and their needs. A competitive salary commensurate with the not for profit sector is offered together with a broad range of wellbeing benefits.

What we are looking for 

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Financial Analyst to support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and forecasting. 

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Planning & Performance, this role works closely with finance and fundraising teams to support financial performance monitoring and informed decision-making.

Your day will include

  • Preparing monthly financial reporting packs, including financial statements and key performance indicators  
  • Maintaining financial reports and data within core financial systems  
  • Supporting quarterly Global financial reporting and monitoring Global grant funding  
  • Assisting with budgeting and maintaining rolling financial forecasts  
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis to support business needs  
  • Supporting business planning processes and monitoring performance against KPIs  
  • Collaborating with finance and fundraising teams to support reporting and financial requests 
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (completed or near completion)  
  • Progressing towards or willing to commence a CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification  
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial systems and data  
  • Exposure to ERP, CRM or BI tools (Sage Intacct, Salesforce, CRM Analytics or Power BI) desirable but not essential  
  • Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines  
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills  
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively 
  • Eager to learn and develop
